Based on DLP technology, the Optoma ML1050STi device delivers 535 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 20000:1 as a projector. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 20000 hours of runtime – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Regarding projection size, the value of 535 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 235 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 157 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 29 decibels.
