The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option.
