This projector is named S331, originates from Optoma, and its data sheet shows 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 22000:1 and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 3200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 493 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 329 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

Positive:
HDMI input delivers good picture even in Eco mode, brilliant color reproduction
Negative:
The new device became very warm within a few minutes (despite room temperature around 18 C) and the fan whistles unpleasantly.
Pixel wobble in VGA mode, even at low resolution.
Cannot recommend the projector for these reasons.
