As a projector for the Homecinema sector, the Optoma H78 is equipped with 1000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution and a contrast of 3800:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. With a value of only 23 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2005, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
