According to Optoma, the UHD38 model provides 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 1000000:1 alongside a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels. This model dates back to 2021 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
