The PX3166 model is a 3D-DLP projector from Optoma, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 5000 hours for this projector's lamp, achieving a lifespan of 6.8 years when used for 2 hours a day. A look at the light output reveals: The 3600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 523 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 349 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 29 decibels. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
