The projector GT5000 by Optoma utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 23000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 50 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 371 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
