A projector from Optoma is the HD75, whose BrilliantColor-DLP model delivers 1400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720 and a contrast of 5000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Regarding projection size, the value of 1400 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 380 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 253 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

can‘t really decide between hd65 and hd75 at the moment ... is the picture on the hd75 better than the hd65 and what effect does the 200 lumens less have on the picture? Does anyone have any experience?

Yay!
I actually spent a little more than I had initially planned - but it was really worth it: the HD75 conjures up a great picture on the screen, shines with huge contrast and the brightness is also ideal for the living room. turn off the lights and close the curtain a little during the day, and nothing stands in the way of perfect cinema enjoyment; the 28db of the fan almost makes you wonder whether the device is already switched on.
95 full points from me for this - why not 100? i‘m very sensitive to RBE and notice it with white text lines on a dark background. compared to other DLP devices, however, the HD75 manages this very well. i don‘t notice anything during the movie.
a beautiful menu, the classy look of the cabinet, automatic color correction, all desirable inputs and finally the clear, vivid, high-resolution picture force even the last cinema hater to look at the screen in fascination.

Great picture
I received my projector 2 days ago and of course connected it immediately.
Unfortunately, my ordered HDMI cable was still in the post, so the DVD player could only be connected to the HD 75 via Scart. But what can I say, even with this the result is more than impressive. Super picture, great colors, really good contrast and that on a makeshift Super8 film screen. I couldn‘t see any of the infamous rainbow effect, even in bright scenes. All in all, I can only recommend the projector, it‘s worth the 749 euros I paid and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
