Based on DLP technology, the Optoma HD29H device delivers 3400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 50000:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 6000 hours before a replacement is necessary, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 592 cm can be illuminated with 3400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 395 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 27 decibels. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
