The Optoma UHD3500A is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 3600 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution alongside a contrast of 1400000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Distance Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 3600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 610 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 407 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
