Known as the ZK400, this 3D-DLP projector by Optoma features basic specs of 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 at a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 30000 hours, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 29 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
