The projector ZH551 by Optoma operates as a 3D-Laser-DLP device with 5600 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 300000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 760 cm can be illuminated with 5600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 507 cm.
