With the HD66, Optoma offers a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that features 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
