The equipment of the Optoma DX551 projector includes 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 with a XGA 1024 x 768 display. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. Regarding projection size, the value of 2800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 461 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 307 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
