Based on DLP technology, the Optoma HD30B device delivers 1600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 25000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. Regarding projection size, the value of 1600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 406 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 271 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
