The H117ST is a 3D-LED-DLP projector by Optoma, whose specifications list 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 30000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 6000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 8.2 years possible. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 104 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 626 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 417 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels.
