The ES521 model is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector from Optoma, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4500:1 at SVGA 800 x 600. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. Looking at practical performance, up to 453 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 302 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
