The hardware properties of the DS331 manufactured by Optoma include 3200 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast value of 20000:1. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 493 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 329 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
