The EzPro / EP739H is a LED-DLP projector by Optoma, whose specifications list 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. Since entering the market in 2005, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

Bought the projector second-hand. The lamp seems to last forever. Replacement is ready, but not needed. We now run it with HDMI via the DVI interface and the quality is impressive.
Occasionally it shows overheating symptoms without us being able to say why.

Impressive picture with PC as source, bright, quiet, sharp - from top to bottom!
Even the compression of a 1400*1050 pixel picture produces a usable picture.
Offset 50%, i.e. the bottom edge of the picture is at lens height, practical for ceiling mounting if the screen starts just below the roller blind box.
Unfortunately, the focus shifts when you change the zoom ratio, so you have to adjust to the optimum image size. I haven‘t tested the video yet.
