A projector from Optoma is the EX779, whose 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP model delivers 4500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 3000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 4500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 389 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
