The Optoma DH1012 is a 3D-LED-DLP projector offering 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 3200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 575 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 383 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 26 decibels. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
