The projector UHZ45 by Optoma utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 at a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 626 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 417 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 29 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
