The W303ST model from Optoma combines DLP technology in the Short Distance sector with 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 18000:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4500 hours for this projector's lamp. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.2 years. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 104 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
