Equipped with DLP technology, the Optoma ZU1700 offers 17000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 17000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1325 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 883 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
