According to Optoma, the ML1050ST model provides 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 20000:1 alongside a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Regarding projection size, the value of 1000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 214 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device.
