The equipment of the Optoma HL31LV projector includes 4375 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300000:1 with a HDTV 1920 x 1080 display. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Looking at practical performance, up to 601 cm can be illuminated with 4375 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 401 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
