The basic data of the Optoma W316ST includes 3400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 as well as a contrast of 20000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 104 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 592 cm can be illuminated with 3400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 395 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
