Designed for the Short Distance sector, the ZH406STx model from Optoma features 4200 ANSI lumens, a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast ratio of 300000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 100 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 4200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 658 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 439 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
