The Optoma X306ST is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 3200 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 15000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3500 hours for this projector's lamp. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 125 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 493 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 329 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
