As a projector, the Optoma HW536 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 2800 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 538 cm can be illuminated with 2800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 359 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
