A projector from Optoma is the TX775, whose DLP model delivers 3500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 2300:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
