As a projector, the Optoma UHZ66 combines DLP technology with a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160, and is additionally specified with 4000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 500000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
