Designed for the Short Distance sector, the X305ST model from Optoma features 3000 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 18000:1. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 4500 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.2 years based on two hours of use per day. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 125 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
