Known as the TX779, this 3D-DLP projector by Optoma features basic specs of 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. A look at the light output reveals: The 4500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 389 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
