Equipped with DLP technology, the Optoma GT200 offers 150 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. Optoma lists a runtime of 20000 hours for the LED in this projector. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. A look at the light output reveals: The 150 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 124 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 83 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 25 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.

I bought the projector on my last business trip to the USA.
I bought it for ~ 150€. (Manufacturer‘s recommendation was once ~ 600USD)
The picture is quite good for the projector in this price range and brightness. The brightness is more than sufficient for a darkened meeting room or hotel room. Presentations can be delivered in true color and clean, but the projector also cuts a fine figure in a hotel with a PC or similar.
The great thing is that in addition to VGA, an HDMI connection is also included. The only real negative is that the projector has no way of changing the image position, so the image quickly looks distorted. It is therefore essential to align the projector properly. Wrapping / tilting etc. is poor, and there is also no optical or digital zoom.
Because the price/performance ratio is more than right for the price I paid and the system with built-in speakers (are very stable and not very tinny despite the sometimes high volume) and as an iPhone docking station (up to 4S) also does its job, I am very satisfied with it.
In the time when I am not traveling, the device does its job as a TV replacement in the bedroom on a portable screen. DVDs and BDs as well as HD TV channels still look quite appealing even on a large diagonal, even if the system itself doesn‘t deliver HD or HD-ready resolution.
I don‘t get the rainbow effect I often see with cheap DLP projectors.
