Categorized in the Homecinema segment, the HD6800 projector from Optoma projects with a WXGA 1280 x 768 resolution, alongside 1300 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3500:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 1300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 366 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 244 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 27 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
