Based on DLP technology, the Optoma ZU1300 device delivers 12000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 2000000:1 as a projector. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1113 cm can be illuminated with 12000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 742 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
