The UHD380x is a 3D-DLP projector by Optoma, whose specifications list 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500000:1 and a 4KESHIFT 2716 x 1528 resolution. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Projection Calculator is recommended. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 601 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 401 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
