Based on DLP technology, the Optoma EP776 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 4300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 571 cm can be illuminated with 4300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 381 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
