Known as the X308STe, this 3D-DLP projector by Optoma features basic specs of 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 22000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 6000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 123 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. With a value of only 27 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
