The Optoma HD50 is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 2200 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 50000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3500 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Distance Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 2200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
