The equipment of the Optoma ZU606TST-W projector includes 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 158 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 787 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 525 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
