The Optoma CinemaX P2 is a 3D-LED-DLP projector that brings 3000 ANSI lumens, a 4KESHIFT 2716 x 1528 resolution alongside a contrast of 2000000:1. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Lens Shift Calculator. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 50 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 24 decibels. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
