As a projector, the Optoma TX612 3D combines DLP technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 3500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3000:1. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
