Based on LCD technology, the Epson EB-L695SE device delivers 6000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K+) 3840 x 2400 and a contrast of 5000000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 30000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 20.5 years. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Projection Calculator. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 100 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 675 cm can be illuminated with 6000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 450 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable.
