A projector from Optoma is the 4K400x, whose 3D-LED-DLP model delivers 4000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 and a contrast of 1000000:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.

Have swapped this for an Optoma UHD55 and am extremely impressed. The picture is very sharp and detailed, brightness on a high-contrast screen is absolutely usable and bright. The only thing that bothers me is that the setup is limited by the lack of focus, so you should know in advance where and at what distance you want to hang it. But when it‘s hanging, it‘s a lot of fun.
