As a projector, the VISSPL RD618 combines LCD technology with 3500 ANSI lumens and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 25 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling.
