This projector from Optoma utilizes BrilliantColor-DLP technology, achieving 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2200:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
