Behind the name PF1500 is a 3D-DLP projector by LG, whose main features include 1400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 150000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. LG lists a runtime of 30000 hours for the LED in this projector, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Looking at practical performance, up to 380 cm can be illuminated with 1400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 253 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device.

I have had many projectors, in TV use, 3 meter wide picture. I‘ve had to change a lot of lamps, a lot of heat on the projector, a lot of dust, high power consumption, very quickly diminishing brightness, loud operating noise. The predecessors had all these things in common, all of which are history with the PF1500g.
The picture is just as bright with the 3 meter wide picture in eco mode as its predecessors with over 3000 Ansi lumens. Even brighter overall, because the brightness of the predecessors quickly diminished. The operating noise is a completely new experience for us in the living room, it‘s as good as gone! On top of that, the power consumption is extremely low, which is absolutely amazing for us - the placement in the list is incomprehensible from my point of view.
