The I65-W16 model is a DLP projector from Barco, intended for Event applications, offering 18750 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 at WUXGA 1920 x 1200. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1270 cm can be illuminated with 18750 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 847 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
